The purpose of exercising incident management and business continuity plans is to provide reassurance to you, your staff, students, regulatory bodies, insurers and the University as a whole that the plans would enable your institution to respond quickly and effectively to any incident.
Plans must be exercised annually under the Incident Management and Business Continuity Policy. Please see Desktop Exercises for guidance and material to support the exercising of plans against different scenarios and how the Business Continuity team can help facilitate exercises.
